On the ground, legless and armless, Hillary refuses to lay down her sword

The clip was posted on YouTube by “The Public Service Administration “Public service administration”, a group of former journalists in the US. It’s based on an idea by blogger John Aravosis and parodies a scene from Monty Python and The Holy Grail, the cult film by the British comedy troupe.

observers.france24.com
“Hillary Clinton is trailing in the number of pledged delegates. Everyone, or nearly everyone, considers her beaten for the nomination. But the senator from New York refuses to lay down her sword. This thirst for battle, whatever the cost, has inspired one of our observers in the U.S., who compared the attitude of Hillary Clinton to that of the famous “black knight” from Monty Python.

Barack Obama is now credited with 1,957 delegates, and he needs 2,025 to win the nomination. Three primaries remain between now and June 3rd and for Hillary Clinton it is mathematically impossible to catch up to her rival in terms of pledged delegates. She can only count on the possibly of a massive turn of super-delegates in her favor.

FBI looking for vegan potluck terrorists

A BB reader says: “FBI tries to convince man to infiltrate vegan potluck events to look for terrorists in Minneapolis/St. Paul, site for the 2008 Republican National Committee Convention this summer.”

[University of Minnesota sophomore Paul] Carroll, who requested that his real name not be used, showed up early and waited anxiously for [U of M Police Sgt. Erik] Swanson’s arrival. Ten minutes later, he says, a casually dressed Swanson showed up, flanked by a woman whom he introduced as FBI Special Agent Maureen E. Mazzola. For the next 20 minutes, Mazzola would do most of the talking.

“She told me that I had the perfect ‘look,’” recalls Carroll. “And that I had the perfect personality—they kept saying I was friendly and personable—for what they were looking for.”

What they were looking for, Carroll says, was an informant—someone to show up at “vegan potlucks” throughout the Twin Cities and rub shoulders with RNC protestors, schmoozing his way into their inner circles, then reporting back to the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force, a partnership between multiple federal agencies and state and local law enforcement. The effort’s primary mission, according to the Minneapolis division’s website, is to “investigate terrorist acts carried out by groups or organizations which fall within the definition of terrorist groups as set forth in the current United States Attorney General Guidelines.”

Carroll would be compensated for his efforts, but only if his involvement yielded an arrest. No exact dollar figure was offered.

“I’ll pass,” said Carroll.

What a difference in cultures. This, while the third world roams homeless and hungry.

The Daily Telegraph
A 13-year-old boy from Texas who stole his father’s credit card and hired two prostitutes has been convicted of fraud.

Newark teenager Ralph Hardy confessed to ordering an extra credit card from his dad’s existing credit card company and taking his pals on a US$30,000 spending spree, which culminated in them playing “Halo” on an Xbox with the hookers in a Texas motel.

The $1000-a-night prostitutes were released without charge but Ralph was given a three year community order upon his conviction on May 9, money.co.uk reported. The prostitutes told police they grew suspicious when the kids said they’d rather play Xbox than play with them. Read more

A Malaysian woman woke up to a real-life nightmare, discovering that the naked man who had slipped into her bed in the middle of the night was a thief, not her husband, a newspaper said on Tuesday.

Stop saying what he did is a cultural thing, just one of those things black folks are known for, like jazz. He’s not one of the Scottsboro boys, he electrocuted dogs.

Erik Prince
We used to have rent-a-cops. Now we have rent-a-soldiers. As CEO of Blackwater, the most notorious private-security contractor in Iraq, Prince has his own navy, air force and spy agency. This guy is building nothing short of a parallel national-security apparatus. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but he’s a super-Christy Jesus freak who looks on the Crusades the way rednecks pine for the Confederacy.

In the memo field of all your checks, write “for sexual favors.” Specify that your drive-through order is “TO-GO.” If you have a glass eye, tap on it occasionally with your pen while talking to others. Insist on keeping your car windshield wipers running in all weather conditions “to keep them tuned up.” Reply to everything someone says with “that’s what you think.” Make beeping noises when a large person backs up.
