Jun. 21 - At least 17 people have been killed in flash floods and landslides in the southern Philippines as a typhoon sweeps across the country. Ten people drowned and five are missing after a river burst its banks in Maguindanao province. In Cotabato City, a man and a child were buried alive in a landslide at a rubbish dump, police said. Five other people were also drowned. Typhoon Fengshen has intensified with gusts of up to 195 kph. It’s expected to exit the country on Sunday and head north towards Taiwan. More
